These pictures were taken in Bethlehem and Jerusalem, two places that are extremely important to religious people, important enough to kill and die for. As I was walking by, feeling very ambivalent about the holiness surrounding me, I was constantly looking for something to have faith in. The rays of sunlight passing through the windows were a reminder of the beauty in the world in a place that caused so much war and conflict.
